Mixing the heady sounds of 60's psychedelia and vintage Krautrock, Life in Mono keeps that motorik pulse of driving The Autobaun.  OK it's not exactly Kraftwerk but this is a fun little album.

Young Prisms and their dreamy fuzz

San Francisco's Young Prisms create a sound not unlike early JAMC with swirling guitars and pretty melodies.  Who around here is not a sucker for that.  I'm sold on this one. The Album Friends For Now is out now on Kanine. (MP3 via Pitchfork)
